John Pennie was for over 30 years a partner in a large nationwide law firm specialising in company restructuring and turnaround. John is also the vice chairman of the Institute for Turnaround and an active board member of it and several other companies and trusts
Alan is a Chartered Accountant and turnaround specialist. Having trained and qualified with KPMG in London, he developed his career in industry where he has built up over 25 years’ experience as a Finance Director. During the past 15 years he has held roles as CFO and acting CEO for a family-owned, global business in Catering & Hospitality where he was responsible for completing the sale of a diverse business portfolio with revenues exceeding US$1 billion, and as Segment Finance Director for one of the world’s largest Integrated On-Site Services Management companies. Previous career experience includes IPO leadership and turnaround within a listed company. Alan is a member of the Institute for Turnaround.

Previously a Senior Consultant with Freedman & Partners LLP Rob has chaired, directed and advised major businesses including Morrison Plc and The Automobile Association. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Institute for Turnaround. He has wide experience in fundraising, turnaround and restructuring. His speciality is Transportation: Rail, Road, Airline & Shipping. Rob has worked in Alternative Finance since 2015.
Annabelle is a Chartered Accountant and a turnaround specialist, providing SME consultancy and lending support to banks. She started her career at PwC in London, specialising in complex restructuring projects in the UK, US, Asia and Europe. Annabelle has worked in Alternative Finance since 2015 and additionally runs a successful turnaround practice.
Sandeep brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of commercial lending most recently from is time with RBS where he arranged over £20m funding for SMEs over the last 10 years. He specialises in the Healthcare sector and has extensive lending experience and understanding of commercial lending and specialist finance services. Sandeep has a track record in successful relationship management, business development and networking throughout the business community. He is the Chairman of the Southampton Business Board, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce (as well as a non-executive Director, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce), President AM Connect Rotary Club Southampton, Board member of The New Forest Business Partnership, Board member Southampton Connect (Southampton City Council) and a Board Member of the Finance & Accountancy Group, Southampton Solent University. Sandeep also makes time to guest lecture at the university and to provide careers advice to school children through The Careers & Enterprise Co (Solent LEP).
